When it comes to marriage, if you are sinned against or someone fails you, you only have two options.

You either go toward bitterness or forgiveness.

And I believe long before couples fall out of love, they fall out of forgiveness.

When we choose bitterness and unforgiveness, we are literally carrying that around like a backpack on our back.

And it is a huge burden.

And if we don't release that to the Lord, then we just keep adding to that backpack.

And it will weigh us down.

It will keep us from being able to walk straight and see clearly and think clearly and hear from the Lord clearly

because we're so clouded by the weight that's on our back of unforgiveness and bitterness.

Well, it starts to break people.

I mean, we know people that they have been betrayed and some horrible things have been done to them.

But what they're doing is rather than handing it to, who says, come to me all you are burden, weary and heavy laden,

They're like, I'll carry this.
