Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. You hear that little extra

chipper in my voice? That's because it's money. Let's go. Monday. I know this podcast is supposed

to be evergreen, but anyways, we're just shouting out that we know it's Monday if you're listening

to get on this day. Anyways, to where I actually gonna pivot and go back into our live on purpose

devotional and full transparency, we went to read day four of the praying God's promises devotional

and we just weren't feeling it. And so we're just switching it up. We want to honor God. We want

to honor you all. We want to honor the special Devo time without further ado. You ready to take

it over, babe? Yes, let's do it. Today's devotional is titled Step Up and Declare. And the verse

is Matthew 16 verses 15 through 16. And it says, he said to them, but who do you say that I am?

Simon Peter answered and said, you are the Christ, the son of the living God. One of the love

languages is called words of affirmation to affirm something means to state that it is true.

That is my number one love language. Sometimes in your relationship with Jesus, you need to affirm

some things. Why? Because the enemy is going to want to steal your truths from you. He wants to

make you wonder and doubt and question. Think about Peter when he was with Jesus at the breakfast on

the beach. Three times Jesus asked Peter if he loved him. And three times Peter said, yes, Lord,

you know that I love you. Now Jesus knows everything that is in our hearts. So he knew that Peter

loved him. Why all the questions then? Because Peter needed to say it out loud. Peter needed to hear

himself say the words. Peter needed to affirm the truth of his relationship with Jesus. And so do

we. Today I want you to affirm your relationship with Jesus so that you don't question it anymore.

So that you don't search for what only he can give you or what he's already given you. Like his

love. Think about your past for a moment. About those things you wish you'd never done that still
