Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

Morning everyone.

It's just me today as Tori just got back from a really fun trip to Los Angeles and she

called it an early night.

We are picking up with a new devotion the Bible apt titled every hour and there's a link

to that in the description of the podcast if you guys want to follow along with us and

as always I'm going to read the scripture and this time I'm also reading the Devo.

The scripture is Psalm 63 verse 1 and it says this, God, you are my God.

I eagerly seek you.

I thirst for you.

My body faints for you in a land that is dry, desolate and without water.

The devotional is titled needy people.

It's funny as many of us are growing up in the place we call home we start looking forward

to the day we'll get to leave.

We want to head out of our own town and explore the world and do our own thing but when

that happens it sometimes isn't take very long to recognize our need for that home that

we left.

Life is hard and we get homesick.

When home is a safe and peaceful place we long for its comforts.

That's not just true in our earthly lives it's also a picture for our relationship with

our heavenly Father.
