Today's episode will focus on chronic inflammatory to myelinating polyneropathy or CIDP. You may remember learning about it in season

one when we heard from Crystal and Scott. CIDP is a neurological condition causing progressive weakness in the arms and legs.

The immune system attacks the protective layer that surrounds the nerves and the muscles.

This damage causes nerve signaling to fail, which is why some people with the condition may experience difficulty walking.

Today's guest, Rory, is an attorney who discovered he had CIDP after experiencing muscle cramps and numbness in his limbs.

His fatigue was so debilitating that he found it hard to walk or stand.
