I wanted to play you an episode of another show that I think you'll really like.

It's called Climing the Walls.

This six-part series investigates why women with ADHD have gone undiagnosed for so long,

and how that changed dramatically during the pandemic,

when the diagnosis of ADHD and women skyrocketed.

The show asks, why women, why now? How has underdiagnosis

impact women's mental health? So I got to check out the first few episodes, and I know I'm

supposed to say something professional here, but honestly, my first thoughts were, oh my God,

this is just so good. Understood sent me the first two episodes to listen to, and now I'm just

going to have to wait for the rest of the series to come up, because this is definitely something worth listening to, and I just can't wait to get to the next episode.

If you're a woman with ADHD, this is a series you're going to love, and even if you're not, this is still something you'll really enjoy because the storytelling and the way it's presented is just top notch.

All right, with all that said,

here's the episode. I've never been all that good at listening to instructions. When flight attendants ask passengers to put their phones on airplane mode, I don't. I usually scroll Instagram

until we lose service. That's what I was doing one morning in February

2024. I was scrolling Instagram when the little red icon appeared in the top left corner of the app. A new message. I opened it. It was a link to a video. My thumb was hovering over it as the wheels lifted off the runway. I saw the top half of the news anchors head

and the logo for Fox News. The screen froze like that. At the time, I was working on a film about

affirmative action, so I assumed that the link had something to do with that. We were in the air for

about six hours, and as we landed, I opened Instagram again. I saw four more messages.

Everyone was sending me the same link. As it loaded, I realized it had nothing to do with affirmative action.

Adult women are being diagnosed with ADHD at a record pace. In just two years, diagnosis rate has nearly doubled. So what's driving...
