Hello everybody and welcome back to YouTube News the podcast. My name is Benedict Townsend and yes, yes, I can hear you already yelling, yes, I have had a haircut. I know you can probably hear it through your podcast machine, the sound, or I guess lack thereof of my hair. You know, where, I'd have to pause every few seconds during these podcasts

to brush my long, luscious locks off the microphone because they'd be crinkling away in a

horrible ASMR fashion. I've now got a nice shaved booze cut, which I got from my local bar bar,

and it's nice and cool for the summertime, because England has just

woken up and remembered that it's June, mid-June, and that it should probably be somewhat warm, so I've

shaved all my head off. You know, it's pretty easy. I went along to the Babbar, and I said,

Babar, Babah, Babar, have you any scissors? He said, yes, sir, yes, I, three bags full, and I said, yes, sir, yes, I three bags full. And I said, give me a booze cut, booze it up, and

booze, booze, I am something of a booze cut then. And I have to say, in my new state, my new

highly aerodynamic state, I feel faster, I feel more efficient, and I feel more ready than ever

to deliver to you some piping hot podcast goodness. So let's open up the oven, take out the baking tray,

and take a big whiff of what we've got on the menu today. And how's that for a complicated

series of big metaphors? Where else could you find that? But YouTube News, the podcast.

Yes, welcome back everybody. My name is Benedict Townsend, and once again

for the 100th time, I'd like to apologise for the cold open of the show. Always something of a mess.

It's wonderful to have you here, whether it be for the very first time or for the first hundredth

time. Either way, all are welcome, except for meanies, on this show, which is the only podcast, I believe, that talks about YouTube, or I think the internet in general.

Bit of a niche topic, but we got here first, and we will always be first.
