As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our listeners. So if you have been positively impacted by this podcast, would you consider supporting your move with a tax deductible donation?

0:18.5

To give, just visit your move.is slash give. That's your move.

0:23.5

dot is forward slash give. Thanks for considering. And now back to the show. Let's use our imaginations for a moment.

0:38.3

I want you to imagine that you wake up, that you woke up this morning, or we'll say

0:44.3

tomorrow morning, you wake up tomorrow morning, and you find you have a checking account.

0:48.3

And in that checking account is all the money you've wasted so far in your life. Yes, a lot of money. Now, let me be specific about wasting. I mean, the money you bad-habited away. In fact, you bad-habited a lot of money away. Now you're trying to break the bad habit, and you're still spending money, you're trying to bat all the money you bad-habited away Imagine, you know, all, if suddenly you woke up with a checking account and all, you had cash for all the stuff you'd wasted money on your whole life. But here's the trick, here's the catch. But the only thing you could do with that money is give it away. You could give it away immediately or you could give it away over time. But wouldn't it be fun to have a checking account with all that money you'd wasted and you have to give it away?

1:35.1

You know what?

1:39.0

That would just be fun.

1:41.5

So hang on to that thought.

1:42.6

We'll come back to it in just a minute.

1:44.1

Today, if you're just joining us, we are in part five of a six-part series entitled, You'll Be Glad You Did, Timeless Advice for Troubled Time. So this is a series just about advice. And the reason we're doing this series is that we've all lived long enough to have made some decisions we're glad we made. We've all live long enough to have developed some good habits that we were glad we developed. We've all lived long enough to have made some decisions we're glad we made. We've all lived long

2:00.9

enough to have developed some good habits that we were glad we developed. We've all lived long

2:05.1

enough to have some regrets and face the consequences of some bad decisions and some bad habits.

2:10.6

In other words, and this is where the title came from, we all have stories. We all have stories

2:15.4

that end with either, I'm so glad I did, or I certainly wish I had,

2:21.3

or I'm so glad I didn't, or I wish I hadn't.

2:25.3

So what we're doing in this series,

2:27.3

this is a series of unoriginal,

2:29.3

you'll be glad you did advice.

2:31.3
