So we start out number three. I want to mention that technically that was not our best interview in terms of logistics.

But DJ Reed is such an amazing guy. Imagine both parents are sick.

You're coming out of high school. You're recruited by nobody. Nobody.

You walk on at Fresno State. You go to the

Juco route. You're just grinding, grinding. Somehow get to K-State, get an opportunity to play

for Bill Snyder. I'm guessing he didn't waste one minute of any day that he was there to try to make something of himself, get to the NFL,

drafted lower, I mean, just the chip on the shoulder and it never ends, but he's not unhappy.

Like he's driven, driven, but you could see.

Like he's got his faith. He's got his, he goes, the money's dope.

It's great. But I want to be around a bunch of dogs. I want to win. I want to get a Lombardi.

But not saying negative, anything negative about anybody. Man, that is such good dude.

And to see the transformation, like I knew he was a player.

When I first started to talk to him, we have a mutual friend.

He, I don't know if he still does, but he worked with a resilience coach.

That was something different.

As I started getting into the Reinvention Project, I met a guy by the name of Matt Calderoni. Matt and his

brother have a company and they're based in Canada and they're doing extremely well.

He's a really bright guy Matt. And Matt worked. I don't know how he and DJ Reed came together, but we had that in common.

And DJ would work with Matt on resiliency.

And he just was just a tough, tough player.

But not running on anger.

But he had rocket fuel. So they got a good one. but not not running on anger.
