Hello, my beautiful church family from all over the world.

I just want to thank you.

I don't even know if you have power where you are right now.

But we want to make sure that safety is the number one priority for so

many of us who have been and who are currently being affected by this winter storm. One of the things

I say here locally for Houstonians is if you can't drive in the sun, you're definitely not

going to know how to drive in ice and snow.

So we want for there to be high volumes of safety for everybody, not just in the state of Texas,

but everybody who's affected by this winter storm. My prayers have been, Lord, give us grace, give us wisdom,

and to love your neighbor.

There's been hoarding in so many different places,

and I'm just like, I pray that we have gotten to a place

where even in the midst of crisis, even in the midst of trouble,

that we still know how to represent the love of the Lord.

So I want to share with you something that has been on my heart.

Just for a few moments, I'm not going to be long because certain things require different

level of obedience are just a different level of focus. So I want to give us a

different biblical focus. There's a passage of scripture that I read before that I think greatly

serves as a prophetic reminder, especially for everybody that's going through this discomfort,

uncomfortable situation.

And we're going to read at Mark chapter 4, starting our reading at verse 35, just a little backdrop of what we're about to read.

This is right after Jesus has given a list of parables.
