Today I have a guest with me, Dana Laquadera, who was an alienated child.

We did a blog previously on parental alienation, and for my listeners, you may know that I've done other blogs

and interviews with Amy Baker and Nick Childs on the topic of parental alienation because

it's something that I've known about since the 70s when I got out of the Mooneys because it was

really obvious to me when there were parents with

kids in a cult and one started to doubt the organization, immediately the group would swoop in

and program the kids against the apostate or, you know, ex-member father or mother and programmed, sometimes even making up stories of abuse

to tell the kids in order to keep them in the cult. And later, I came to understand this was a

worldwide phenomenon with just married people or people who have children together,

and then they have marital disputes and problems,

and the custodial parent programs the children against the other parent,

and often causes an estrangement against their entire side of the family, which is what happened with Dana.

Dana is a professional author and writer.

Her first book was called The Uncluttered Mother, Free Up Your Space, Mind, and Heart.

And this book that just came out is called You Know Who, an alienated daughter's memoir.

And it tells her story about, you know, as a young child, she and her sister being told horrible

stories about their mother and basically being not permitted to having a normal

relationship with their mother or their mother's side of the family. And there's so many

important issues of influence and ethical influence and unethical influence. But I particularly
