Oh, how I remember those days back in the late 1970s when New York made a major effort to rebrand itself for the I-Heart New York campaign and just absolutely caught fire.

Now with the election of Zoan Mondami is new mayor of New York, they've got a new campaign, and here it is, and the slogan is, you knew I was a snake when you picked me up.

And gentlemen, we are, you know, the problem with studying human behavior is that experimenting

on peoples against the law generally.

But when they experiment on themselves, I guess that's okay, morally and intellectually.

So the people of New York have elected not only an Islamist, but a communist Islamist as well,

who has promised to do the one thing that has gotten him so much excitement in New York,

and that is to actually genuinely stand by socialist principles and turn what was once the financial spindle of the world

into a communist utopia.

Steve, I have a bit of a connection to New York.

I was born in New York City.

My dad's first job in the hotel business was his food and beverage manager at the Roosevelt.

And his last job as a hotel manager was a general manager of the tap.

So I'm not like tight with the city, but I know a little bit about it.

Last time I visited with my dad up there was in the late 70s,

and he told me, yeah, go out, have a good time. Don't cross this street.

Don't cross that street. As long as you say on this side of that street, that'll be fine.

Along comes a Republican by name of that street, that'll be fine.

Along comes a Republican by name of Rudy Giuliani and Bill Braxton.

And the next thing you know, I'm doing a weekend or worth of editing in New York City,

and I'm walking through Times Square at 2.30 in the morning, and it's like a river walk.
