Last week whistleblowers came before Congress to detail a most horrid account of the fact

that our top law enforcement agency was retaliating against them for doing what we have long

considered in this nation to be noble and essential to the rule of law. When you see something

say something, is that what our government told us? Well, these people did so and a whistleblower

is necessarily not the town cryer. They don't issue a clarion call over a loudspeaker.

They're a whistleblower undercover of darkness because there is great exposure to them in so doing.

They care so much about doing the right thing and exposing the wrong

that they're willing to risk. They're willing to make themselves vulnerable to do something.

Isn't that what we tell our kids? Do the right thing even if it's not popular.

Stand up and speak out when something wrong is going on even if no one else does.

In August 2022, I may protect whistleblower disclosures to my immediate supervisor,

assistant special agents in charge and special agent in charge about my concerns regarding

January 6th investigations inside to my office. I believed our departures from case management

rules established in the FBI's domestic investigations and operations guide could have undermined

potentially righteous prosecutions and may have been part of an effort to inflate the FBI statistics

on domestic extremism. The FBI weaponized the security clearance processes to facilitate my

removal from active duty within one month of my disclosures. In addition to an indefinite unpaid

suspension, the FBI initiated a campaign of humiliation and intimidation to punish and
