I mean, that's our job, right? My job is to keep people's attention.

Right. Now, for me, it comes with something additional that I don't think the engineers at

meta or bite dance have, which is I have a set of principles about what I want to use that

attention for, right, as opposed to whatever gets it. And whatever gets it is kind of the dominant ethos

in the world right now. This idea of sort of attention, you know, getting attention is an end

of itself so that you can accrue the power that comes with collective attention, as opposed

to a means to some end. Typically politicians are trying to get people's attention to

persuade them of a point.
