One of the problems in my life is when you are a different type of human.
I'm saying this humbly.....
My brain works differently versus others.
And I'm successful.
I've been adopted.
Addicted.
Abused.
Imprisoned.
The way my mind works, none of that was able to keep me down.
Don't get me wrong.
I got my ass kicked in every facet of life.
It took people telling me I'm a piece of shit.
It took me continuing to work.
And guess what............
I started making money.
I built businesses.
Created a new life for myself.
I don't surround myself with people that don't push to make me better.
I worked with David Goggins a year before most people knew about him.
Do you think he was nice to me?
Nope.
He told me I sounded like a lazy piece of shit.
I needed that so I could get better.
Most people get offended and mad at you when you tell them the truth.
If you want to get better and keep winning, surround yourself with people that tell you the truth.
Even if it hurts your feelings.
They care enough to tell you the truth.

I'd be like brought and got out of prison, made a half a million bucks, lost that fucking job, started another business and made a quarter of a million bucks. And you over here bitching about some shit from two goddamn years ago. But as usual, that makes me the asshole. But here's how I work versus how everybody else works. I want you to tell me that I'm a piece of shit and I'm not doing my best. I want somebody in my ear pushing me telling me. I worked with David motherfucking Goggins for a year before you guys even knew who the fuck he was. You think that guy was kind to me? No, that was the best mentor I could have had because that motherfucker said what was on his mind no matter what. That's how I work. David's like, oh, you sound like a lazy piece of shit to me. |
