President Trump made the announcement of the Kenny Center Honors recipients.

She was among them and she stood out to certain people, I guess, for certain reasons.

Her iconic song, I Will Survive, is an anthem for so many women out there and certainly has been one for me. I have,

I know every word to the song as I think most women do, but it's also become an anthem for

the LGBTQ plus community, especially in the 80s during the AIDS epidemic. A lot of that community

took that song personally and took it as their own as a as a part of

their identity this song means a lot to a lot of people yeah and she was this this woman is iconic yes

she was a disco queen of course in the 70s and 80s had several hits but she's won robes and it made me think of our girl
