I'm Eddie Panero.

And in this episode, we're going to talk about focus.

0:07.7

And I'm going to draw some parallels to filmmaking and explain that you only see what you focus on.

0:35.1

Yeah. So one of the first things you learn as a filmmaker or even a YouTube or someone with a DSLR or a Merrillus, and you want that kind of, that cinematic look, right? The Hollywood feel

0:40.6

where there's a sharp focus and the background's kind of blurred out. That's what we associate

0:46.1

with, with, you know, good cinematography. That background blur, the audience knows right to look at.

1:53.8

see the thing that we are focused on, even when other things are around us, they're just blurred

2:00.4

out. They're in the peripheries.

2:01.9

I talked a while ago about that time I, you know, a run I'd done, you know, an eight-mile run,

2:08.2

I'd done so many times. But one time recently, like within the past month, you know, I got

2:14.6

injured and I walked back. And the things I saw, I saw, you know,

2:19.4

beautiful modern homes that I ran by millions of times that I'd never noticed. And I just thought,
