The Thing About Advice.

Oh, advice, advice, advice, we've all got some.

Everyone's got some advice to give you, whether it's parenting

advice or money advice or probably my least favorite nutrition advice.

People love to tell you what you're eating wrong, why you shouldn't be touching that, why you should be eating this instead, and it's so confusing, right?

This is why I just come back to myself and I trust myself and what my body needs, but there is so much advice out there.

And I think to myself, well, it can feel overwhelming, right, just the sheer volume of opinions and thoughts and so-called wisdom that people want to share.

And I do actually think that at the core advice is always or almost always well intentioned.

If someone's been through something and they can help you, you know, maybe they're a bit further along, and that can be wonderful.

You know, advice can be life-changingly helpful.

A sentence, an insight, a question from a stranger.

I know, I know how powerful the right questions, the right insights, the right comments, the right

loving feedback.

I know how powerful that can be. And because we know more than one thing can be true at the same time,

I would love to give you this feeling of being a let off the hook too when it comes to advice because so much of it is

conflicting even though it's well intentioned and the only person who's going to

know really what's right for you in any given moment is going to be you.

I've had so much career advice over the years, so much business advice and so many just thoughts shared, ideas shared, a questions posed to me that I feel
