Rob Liefeld. I'm Rob Liefeld. I'm your host. I'm so excited to be talking to you guys again today.

Thank you. We are, we are going towards six years this year, six crazy years of a show that started

out of my, I love saying this, abject loneliness in that crazy,

terrible, awful pandemic period. We were all just so isolated. We didn't know what was up and what was down.

And our heads were still spinning. I think our heads are still spinning. But you guys, comic books is my baseline.

It is my eternal baseline.

Look at these juicy Hulk comics, those daredevils.

Okay, common books have always been my baseline.

They are where I go in trauma, in panic, in stress, or for just the best joy.

Okay?

I got an omnibus the other day that I had been waiting for to come out.

It's, uh, we'll possibly go through it here on the show.

It's called Warlord, the incredible Mike Grell, who had come off a fan favorite run on

the Legion of Superheroes, did a complete swerve. I mean, one of the biggest

zigzags. And he created a sword and sorcery book called the warlord. And he did 30, 40. I don't

know how many straight issues he wrote and penciled it. But it was signature.
