Hello and welcome to Sochiology 101, the dreaded accusation of misrepresentation.

You just don't understand Calvinism.

I get this at least once a day, it seems, on my Facebook or social media or Twitter.

And I understand, I get it.

You really want people to understand your view and you feel like if they've rejected it must be because they just don't get it. They don't understand it. Well, you really want people to understand your view and you feel like if they've rejected

it must be because they just don't get it. They don't understand what you're saying.

I feel the same way, believe it or not. I don't believe that most Calvinists understand

traditionalism rightly and what I believe. And therefore, there's a desire within me to help

you to understand it. I want you to get it. And so I understand the accusation and misrepresentation. And over the years of studying this

particular topic and this particular issue and covering this particular doctrine, I have come

to the firm conclusion that it is impossible to rightly represent a view with which you disagree

to the satisfaction of every opponent.

And I want to go over why I think that is, because this accusation, you just don't understand Calvinism.

You probably, I know you said you were a Calvinist, but it's just impossible.

You couldn't have ever been a real Calvinist.

Actually, there is a YouTube video that my friend put up called Meet the Calvinist Light and

Flowers, and it's a recording of me back when I was Calvinistic there on YouTube. And so you can

actually hear a sermon of me talking about Acts 1348 and Ephesians 1 and a couple of the passages

as a Calvinist.

And so you can actually hear me affirming the Calvinistic claims.

And so I have actual proof that I was a Calvinist at one time.

Now, you can argue about what kind of Calvinist I was and all of those kinds of things.
