type episode so we'll just kind of like keep the Andrew Waffling banter to a minimum

because this week I am joined by Ceres Castle and I guess just hi nice let's say hello

how are you doing Ceres? Hi, how's it going? I guess like personally not worse than

a lot of folks but bad is is you know where my brain is at how are you doing? I really

like the phrase pandemic fine you know like I'm healthy, I'm eating, I'm clean but my brain

is just a total fucking disaster. Right like should shouldn't complain but I could is

where my brain is at like lots of lots of stuff to be grateful for obviously but let me see

so yeah okay so so for the listeners we are doing a different type of episode I guess

two weeks in a row because last week you know Jason Cousetion we ended up just not

taking any calls and this is going to be another no calls week I'm afraid. So yeah I

guess so Ceres maybe it's easiest if you tell the listeners sort of who you are is that

the best way to do this? I don't know. Yeah I just realized you have probably been sitting

through hours and hours of interviews and I'm realizing this is not like a quote professional

interview show so I'm like what the fuck am I doing anyway but yeah tell people who you

are? Yeah so my name is Ceres Castle like Andrew just said and I am a freelance reporter

in the Los Angeles area. I have covered things like the unhoused crisis in Los Angeles,

local politics, law enforcement specifically I am currently working on a series that takes

a look at the formation and proliferation of deputy gangs in the Los Angeles County

Sheriff's Department. Yes it's on a knock LA it is I encourage everyone to read it and
