Hello and welcome to or welcome back to trying not to care. If you're new here, my name's

Ashley and I upload every single Monday. And if you aren't new here, you might see something a little

different today, maybe if it worked. We have new cover art. The reason I say if it worked

is because sometimes when you guys share that you're listening to

the podcast on Apple specifically, it shows my old cover art from like 24. So I don't know how to fix that.

I never do seasons of trying that to care. It's not like season one, two, three, four. But every year,

I like to change my cover art just to go with the vibe

of what's going on in my life, how I feel. So I always change it with the year and it's new year,

but I really like this one. So this one might stay for a while. This one reminds me a lot of

one of my first cover arts I did where a lot of you actually found trying to care in like 2022. It was a photo of me laying on the ground with this little black telephone.

And I actually shot that photo where I shot this one. And it just feels very similar. It feels like

I'm going back to my roots, but in a more mature way, I feel like that's how I feel about this

podcast. I started this podcast when I was 24 and I was very

lost. I was very sad. I was very confused, but I knew that I wanted to help people and now I'm turning

29 in April. And although I'm still a little lost and I'm still a little confused,

I feel a lot more confident in myself and what I'm doing and the people I surround myself with.

And I'm just so happy that I'm able to take my experiences and share them with you and help you

and just connect with all of you. So it's like little me meets me now,

still emotional, still cares a lot, but just a little bit more grown. So I hope you like

the new cover art, but in other news over the weekend, merch has dropped. I can't tell you how it's

going or who bought her or anything because I'm recording this before it comes out, but it did come out on the 13th. You can shop it now. It's in the show notes.
