Summary

Today’s guest is Marine EOD Bomb Tech Johnny ‘Joey’ Jones.

Joey enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school and served for eight years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. On August 6, 2010, after rendering safe and destroying more than 80 explosives, he stepped on an IED and lost both of his legs above the knee and sustained other multiple severe injuries.

Join Jack and Joey as they discuss Joey's journey leading up to EOD school, his first deployment, the mission that resulted in his life-changing injury, and the weight of losing fellow brothers in arms. They also explore Joey's personal resilience, his path to recovery, and his unwavering commitment to supporting his fellow wounded veterans.

Joey is the author of the bestselling book Unbroken Bonds of Battle and a regular contributor across the FOX News network.
