0:00.0	Would you go in the scriptures to Deuteronomy, the 30th chapter, please, this morning?
0:09.3	We've been on this for some weeks now when I've been able to be with you, and we're dealing with some things that are very widespread and prominent issues.
0:20.4	And the scripture said the truth will make you free.
0:24.3	Clear things up for us.
0:26.6	Deuteronomy 30 in the 15th verse, and I'm going to read from the good news translation,
0:32.3	GNT, the good news.
0:34.3	It says it like this.
0:35.7	God is speaking.
0:37.2	He says, today, I am giving you a choice between good
0:43.0	and evil, between life and death. He's giving who a choice? Giving you a choice. So if he says
0:53.7	it's your choice, then is it his choice? If he says
0:59.4	it's your choice, is it up to him? If he says it's your choice, then is he deciding? No. If he says
1:08.4	it's your choice, is he in control of that?
1:11.3	No.
1:12.8	No. He said you're in control of that choice.
1:17.4	And then the outcome. Keep reading verse 16.
1:21.1	If you obey the commands of the Lord your God, which I give you today, if you love him, obey him and keep all his laws.
1:28.4	Everybody say if.
1:29.4	If.
1:31.9	Then you will prosper and become a nation of many people.
1:35.2	The Lord your God will bless you in the land that you're about to occupy.
1:39.9	Verse 17.
