talking to a friend of mine who

has a lot of experience in real estate development and the trends in the area, which areas are doing well,

and reference was made to Acres Homes and that Inwood Forest area out there andres Homes, if you don't know, was originally called

Acreshams. And it was a black township that was known for the large acreage sites.

Many people had horses and moved out there. For working class, sorry for for for it could be working if

they worked and saved over a long period of time. It wasn't well to do blacks, but blacks who saved their money worked hard and lived this sort of rural life in town.

And it's the area that I always worry about the voter theft because it's an area

that Sheila Jackson Lee has been accused of cheating in. It's also the little community that

Professor Turner is from. He mentions that often. And we were talking about real estate

trends and what has happened in that area.

The city's poured a lot of money into that area

and there's been an attempt to try to

to try to improve that area with regard to public improvements, sidewalk improvements,

the sort of things that cities do to pour money into something to try to make it nicer. The question is what is the

culture there? What is happening there? What are the people doing there? How many people

are shot dead left in the middle of the road? And once they are, how many people simply step over them and don't even

call.

That's what really makes a community what it is.

And I asked this particular person, who's talking about the northwest side of Houston, I said,

how's that Acres Homes Inwood area doing?

Has it improved? Because when I was on council, they were determined to make that area nicer and he said man that
