And you're listening to the Suburban Women Problem. Continuing with our weekly countdown,

the midterm elections are now only eight weeks away. Oh my gosh. I looked it up this time. Size of a cabbage. We're size of a cabbage

right now. If this was our election pregnancy. We're like Benjamin Button, though, because

like we're getting smaller. I know. Exactly. That's because we're doing it backwards. like we're getting smaller. I know exactly. That's going to say we're doing it

backwards. So so we're down to the sides of a cabbage at eight weeks. Women have been registering

to vote in record numbers, but there is still so much work to be done. You can sign up for our

dot blue. The people that we're running against are so dangerous. And so many of them don't even

have real policy positions. Just fear and misinformation. They're essentially trolls,

which I talk about in my interview with salon writer Amanda Marquette, author of

Troll Nation.

And before that, we'll be joined by Lindsay Mahaffey and Christine Kushner, two school board members

in North Carolina.

They've been dealing with their own trolls facing name calling and threats, same playbook

as always.
