Now, that little recycle symbol that you see on packaging milk cartons, for example,

you're not going to see on milk cartons anymore.

It's the recycling symbol.

It's really coveted.

And it has those, you know, chasing arrows in that triangular shape.

And it is now on its way out when it comes to milk cartons, which is probably one of the

most recycled products that we have, recycled packaging that exists.

There was a letter that waste management, one of the nation's largest waste companies,

letter sent to California, this is a California issue,

waste management sent to the state that it would no longer sort cartons out of the waste stream for recycling

at the big facility has in Sacramento.

What it will do is send those milk packages, those milk cartons, straight to the landfill.

Now, that is a very big deal.

I mean, California is at the forefront of recycling still is.

And the way recycling works, it's all all hand done it's all manual labor the

out of the recycling bins that people put in front of the house is picked up by recycling trucks

it's a separate bin that is then thrown into the center and conveyor belts pick it up and

people just literally pick and choose they have to pick up the stuff that is recyclable and let the rest go that goes into a landfill and then the recycling part of it goes to various companies various organizations that use that recycled material well it used to be that milk was part of it,

but it's just not being able to be recycled.

It really actually never was
