There is a real serpent, there is a real snake, there is a real hater.

He is an accuser and his name is Satan.

And he would love nothing more than to take you out.

He would love nothing more than to get you to stop trusting in Jesus.

And that about wraps it up.

God is strong and he wants you strong.

So take everything the master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials,

and put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the devil throws your way.

This is no afternoon athletic contest that will walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours.

Translation, we're not out in the backyard playing bump or playing horse.

We're not just playing tennis.

This is real.

This matters.

We are going to remember this.
