kind of like four emergencies. It wasn't really until maybe the iPhone came out that it started to change. The book I'm reading has a flashback.

It's called King Sorrow by Joe Hill. And the book I'm reading does a flashback to the 90s or so

where one of the guys in this friend group buys everyone a phone

and they're discussing the need to have a phone and he says,
