Today's tip is that you can still win the year.

The fourth quarter may seem like the end of the calendar year, but there is still a lot of time left.

In 13 weeks, you can probably accomplish a lot of your goals, and also convince anyone evaluating you

that it has been an incredible year. I set goals every year. I also check in on them periodically

through the year. I recently realized that while my personal goals for the year were going quite well,

I was a little behind on my work goals.

For instance, I wanted to grow my substack newsletter, Vanderhacks, to a certain number

of paid subscribers.

I have grown at some, but not by quite as many as I want.

I also wanted to write a novel,

and I have not done that.

But here's the thing, the year isn't over yet.

With a concerted push,

I am guessing I could grow Vanderhacks quite a bit.
