You're going to. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Hello friends Greg Kockel and I want to kick off the show here,

stand a reason with some good news, you know,

from, in a sense, in the culture.

There was so much going on in the culture, so much broadly characterized spiritual battle.

That is conflict in the culture that have deep spiritual ramifications, consequently you understand then that this

battle is not just between flesh and blood that is between human beings it isn't just

us against them there is. There is a much more three-dimensional

element going on, as Paul describes, in Ephesians 6. And that is our battle is not against

flesh and blood, but against powers and

principalities and spiritual forces of witness in heavenly places.

It isn't that there isn't this this conflict or this contact point with others, flesh and blood here, a phrase that just

simply means humans, human nature, human thinking, human ideas.

Remember Peter said, I'm sorry, make that Jesus said to Peter,

flesh and blood is not revealed this to you but my father who is in heaven.

He's just saying you didn't get this on your own.

There was some God, the father helped out, right?

So in this area of spiritual battle there are ideas that we are engaging in the world that are in force or given force and given momentum and given persuasiveness

and given all of those kinds of things

in virtue of spiritual forces behind them and in this case they're spiritual forces of wickedness.

And in a lot of cases we look around and we see what's happening with ideas, things like DEI, which is diversity, equity, and

inclusion, kind of the newer way of characterizing critical theory because that's where it comes from.
