1st Corinthians chapter 13 we are jumping into a brand new series today i love series

Dave do you love series i love series we're going into a brand new series you can write down the

series title by the way i'm preaching this week pastor julia's preaching next sunday

installment number two so we're calling this new series all that remains out of 1 Corinthians chapter 13.

Now I'm going to read the verse and then I'll explain to you what the author was intending to say.

1 Corinthians 13 read here in verse 12.

For now, talking about now in the flesh now we see only a reflection has in a mirror but then when we when we go to heaven when we die then we shall see

face to face so right in other words right now it's like I can only see a part of the truth.

No one has mastered all truth.

We only know in part.

But when we go to heaven, we'll see Jesus face to face.

So he says, we'll see face to face.

And now I know in part, but then I shall know fully, even as I am already fully known and now these three

remain faith hope and love but the greatest of these is love I want to preach a message

today right down the title it's called you can you can cancel everything but this you can cancel everything but this. You can cancel everything but this.

Now, again, I told you I was going to give you the author's intent.

The author of the book of Corinthians, 1st Corinthians,

he's a guy named Paul.

Paul is a church planner.

He would go into different cities and plant different churches.

And he is writing to this church in Corinth whom he loves.

The previous chapter, chapter 12, he wrote to them about the gifts.
