No matter how exceptional your day might be going,

it's about to get better.

what I'm about to say no matter how good your day was yesterday my day was

better how do I know?

Because the Bible tells me so, better is a day in the house of mourning,

then in the house of feasting, if I might paraphrase and why can't I, Eugene Peterson did, it's better to go to a funeral

than to go to a party.

That is why my day was better than your day yesterday because I went to a funeral and your day is about to get better today because I'm going to take you there.

Because Solomon was right, there is so much that can be learned at a funeral if we take the time to think things through.
