Happy midsummer, everyone.

It doesn't even make sense to me.

No.

I feel like time is absolutely flying by. I feel like it's flown by too. And since I was

in South Africa, which seems like I was there for seven years, it was winter. So I feel like I've not

even experienced summer either. Oh, weird. Because like it was cold there, not freezing, but cold.

And then I came back and it was hot and now it's like almost August. You know, I feel like

I haven't had a true summer in a really long time because I had Gardner in 2021. Oh yeah. That's true.

Yeah. And so I was like in the throws of postpartum. And then last summer I found out I was pregnant

with Rory in May and I was sick the entire summer,

like throwing up. Yeah. And then this summer feels a little more, but still like new baby.

I don't know. Adding kids to your life is like the weirdest season. Oh yeah. I bet. I can't even

imagine. But I bet too when they get older though, you'll be back into, like,

for sure.

Little kid, like, mode.

Well, and I think when kids go to school, too, it throws you into really cherishing

summer the way that you did when you were young.

Because they're out of school, there's not as much holding me down.
