Actually, it kind of is relevant. It is, actually. It is. But I teach theology to freshman softwares. And then I teach drama and Shakespeare to third through fifth graders. So I'm going through Aristotle's Poetics. They really don't know that. We're going through the six elements of a tragedy, right? Plot. Let me see if I can remember. Plot, character, thought, language, music, and spectacle. So we're going through all that. And so I'm like, how am I going to connect this with the kids? First, we analyze the plot of the Lion King, then the characters of the Lion King. Last week we did The Little Mermaid. And we analyzed Disney villains. Super fascinating stuff. And then it becomes a show on Catching Foxes. But that whole idea, I want to be where the people are, right? |
