Would you turn please to Colossians chapter 2 and I want us to begin reading in verse 9 and read through verse 15.

This is the second message in our series on the Encouraging Message of the Cross.

And now today you are forgiven.

Colossians chapter 2 beginning in verse 9.

And Paul says, for in him that is in Christ, dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead butler.

That is everything God is, was to be found in Christ.

And you that is believers are complete in him who is the head of all principalities and powers.

In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands speaking of the cleansing of the heart,

in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.

Buried with him in baptism wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God,

who has raised him from the dead and you now watch this verse and you being dead in your sins,

that is, that's the past life.

And in the uncircumcision of your flesh speaking of the heathens,

has he quickened made a lot together with him having forgiven you all your trespasses.

Blighting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against you which was contrary to us and took it out of the way

nailing it to his cross.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a sure of them openly triumpling over them in it.

Now Paul, everything he said was sinned in the cross of Jesus Christ because all that we are,
