Right now, here's Pastor Rick Warren with part two of a message called, You Are Called to Belong.

Now there's a second metaphor that God uses to describe the church and he says, the church

is like a temple.

It's like a temple, in other words, it's like a building that is erected for God's glory.

It's a building where God's presence shows up, where God is loved, where God is honored

and worshiped, a temple.

And the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3, 16, here on the screen, don't you realize that

all of you together are the temple of God and His Spirit lives in you, He's talking to

the church.

You know, I remember when we have been building buildings here on the Lake Forest campus

over many years and as each of them is built, I'll walk through them as they're getting

built and I'll see all of the carpenters and the construction workers building all of

things and I've noticed that it takes thousands of different pieces to build a building but
