Urim Hazoni, the Israeli political theorists,

is one of the most influential conservative intellectuals in the world.

His book, The Virtue of Nationalism,

was one of the most widely discussed works of political theory to be published last year.

Last week, Hazoni helped organize the second National Conservatism Conference.

Last year it was in Washington, this year in Rome,

and among the attendees were some of the leading Conservative politicians in Europe,

including Victor Orban, Mateo Salvini, and Marian Marichell Le Pen.

The conference became embroiled in controversy when the British Conservative MP Daniel Kaczynski

was criticized for attending by the Board of Deputies of British Jews,

and Dame Margaret Hodge, the parliamentary chair of the Jewish Labour Movement,

described the conference as, quote, packed full of racists homophobes and Islamophobes unquote.

Kaczynski ended up being reprimanded by his own party for

attending. I began by asking Yaram about that.

I think that we have here another example of what's been called cancel culture.
