and I am here each week to obsess out loud about spending purposefully, saving aspirationally

and giving joyfully. It all comes down to just four simple rules. We save aspirationally

because we're going to spend that money.

You don't aspire to have more money.

You aspire to do more things with that money.

Money is nothing until it is spent.

Yeah, I just wanted to get that off my chest.

What has me most excited about this idea of perhaps more of the world being more intentional

what they're spending is that we can get a good toaster made out of it.

We might be able to start demanding from the market.

And people say the market only gives what is demanded, you know?

And I think that's true.

I think that's pretty true.

The market sure is quick to adapt to demands.

So I think that's true.

And for some reason, somewhere along the way,

we all stopped demanding that toasters last, uh,

longer than three or four years.

And so I've gone and bought,

you know,
