we got Ilva in the booth today Ilva how are you doing I'm doing so good thank you thanks for having me

we're happy that you're here and for our listeners that are unfamiliar with who you are Ilva is a

professional snowboarder from Iceland she is slush mags 2021 rookie of the year recently she has

landed herself two magazine covers in the past year she's filmed some incredible video parts including

back-to-back enders in the uninvited films as well as some serious heat in the latest project hot

cocoa if you haven't seen that you guys got to check it out her excitement for snowboarding is

infectious her board controls off the chart and she's a true gem to the snowboard community Ilva so

I'm going to take a stab at maybe seeing your last name because I look at it there's a lot of

there's a lot of hyphens and kind of letters but it's Ilva ruinous daughter yeah was I close

um pretty close yeah so you're from Iceland I'm from Iceland you guys speak Icelandic

Icelandic correct how was it grown up over there uh really really good I love Iceland and I think if

I didn't snowboard I would live in Iceland for sure it's a great country everyone should go visit

that says I wanted to go visit Iceland like I've been wanting it forever but yeah so sell us

sell us on Iceland sell us yeah so I think first and foremost it's like great people people are like

used to having crazy weather having to adjust just like all in all very present I think because

you cannot just live after a schedule like everyone's going to be late or way ahead of time because

they're just running it how it goes kind of thing and um yeah and I think just like the nature

just compliments that like it's wild and crazy and still beautiful because it has so much character

it's a bit different um than many other like islands because it's it's a really big island but
