Turn with me, please, to Romans the sixth chapter for the previous two Fridays when I was here with you.

Romans 6 and 11 says, likewise, reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin, therefore, reign in your mortal body that you should obey it in the lust

or desires thereof.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves

unto God as those that are alive from the dead and, in other words, and yield your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Do you see the word yield?

He said, don't yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but do yield yourselves to God and do yield your members as instruments of righteousness

to God.

Two of the most important things you can never learn in life is what to yield to and what

to resist.

The truth is, many Christians are resisting the Lord on some things and yielding to the

enemy thinking it's the Lord.

The enemy is very crafty and subtle.

He'll never come to you openly and obviously.

The scripture says that he transforms himself into an angel of light.

The enemy's favorite thing to do is to try to convince you

that what he's trying to get you to do is God. That's his main mode of operating. Because, you know,

if it's God, you should yield to it. And the less you know the Scripture, and the less you know the Spirit of God,

the more easily duped and fooled you'll be.
