Today I have a message that's on my heart.

It's been brewing there for some time, and I would like to share that with you.

It's going to deal more with people that are stepping into the call of God, but I believe

that it will relate to everyone because everybody here has a ministry.

Everybody here has a call, amen.

If you have your Bible, I want you to go with me to 1st Samuel, chapter 15.

Now, I have a son named Samuel, so this is a dear book for me now. I read this book differently.

1 Samuel chapter 15.

And the verse that I would like to read is verse 28.

And it says the following that so Samuel said to him,

the Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to a neighbor of yours

who is better than you.

Somebody say, ouch.

It's very hurtful when God comes and says, I found someone and they're better than you.

Yeah.

Turn to your neighbor and say, you have to be better than you.

Turn to your neighbor who was not your first choice and tell them you don't have

to be better than me but you have to be better than you I'm going to give you some

notes today to take home so I want you to pull out your phone if you're taking notes on your phone.
