On Monday the 24th of March, the Transport Secretary told MPs that backup power systems at Heathrow

operated as they should during Friday's fire.

But she said two reviews would be carried out to find out what lessons could be learnt.

He was venting his frustration at the Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander,

who made a statement updating MPs on the disruption.

She explained that a fire had knocked out one of the three electricity substations

that supply the airport, forcing Heathrow to act.
