in slavery. And because of that, for more than 15 years now, that National Historic Site in Philly,

about those nine people who lived there with George Washington. And it is a fascinating story, right?

I mean, this contradiction of George Washington as the first president, the man who led the literal

fight for American liberty, while he was also simultaneously personally

enslaving people, including right there in Philadelphia at the president's house. We think of

slavery as a southern thing, right? But there it was. So the city of Philadelphia did a partnership

with the National Park Service, and they installed an exhibit of art and plaques
