Welcome to the busted open podcast. This is Dave Le Grecker. On today's episode,

myself and Bullery talk Monday Night Raw and we have a new intercontinental

champion Jay Uso. Also before his big match against John Moxley at Grand Slam

Darby Allen. This is the busted Open Podcast. Great match though, bully.

So let me ask you right off the bat.

Were you, I shouldn't say shock because I know with you when it comes to pro wrestling,

you should never be shocked.

But were you surprised that Jay Uso won that match last night.

No I was surprised because I believe yesterday or maybe last last week, we were talking about this,

and I was like, no, I don't think Jay needs to win,

and I said, I think it would be too early

to take the championship off of Braun. I honestly don't know why they pulled the

trigger on that last night. Maybe they just wanted to have a great moment on Monday night

raw. Maybe they just wanted to shock the people.

Love it. Jay Uso to me was one of those guys that could continue to chase and never

needed a championship because he was getting over with the people so organically like the people really loved him.

I didn't think he needed a championship to justify him.

Like am I paying money to see Jay Uso defend that intercontinental championship?

He's one of those classic cases in my opinion where the chase, you know, that means everything. So yeah, we got the chase. It wasn't like a really long chase.

He defeats Buron. Maybe they put it on Jay because they have different plans for Braun because putting it on Jay like

are you gonna be interested every week to see Jay Uso defend the intercontinental championship does Jay Uso defend the Intercontinental Championship?

Does J Uso scream Intercontinental Champion to you?
