I need your words. I need your time covering all sport, all business, all life. Has there ever been anybody who did everything as great as Shoei Otani?

0:16.0

I mean, what are we talking about here? There is a quote I love. It was said about Michael Jordan. As good at his job, as anyone has ever been at their job, ever in anything.

0:27.0

How that doesn't apply more to Shoei Otani, he's working two jobs to make ends meet. Let's go round the Horde.

0:35.0

I think El Duncan is the closest to his job.

0:43.0

El Duncan does two jobs. Monica McIntyre does two job, 40 crores does two jobs. Me the kind will be job. At least.

0:51.0

Working women. We'll get to that in a second. We start with the news. The day from the NFL Suspensions incoming. Adam Shepharder says the league is handing down season long suspensions.

1:03.0

The multiple players for gambling. One of the players, Isaiah Rogers of Indianapolis, tick returner, defensive back, expected to be a starter for the Colts this year.

1:13.0

Has been the subject of a league investigation to possibly gambling on the Colts. Gambling on NFL games. Meena Kimes. Where does the league find itself today?

1:27.0

I think they're in a bit of a tricky spot, Tony. My thinking on this issue has evolved. My first reaction to news at the Suspensions would be coming down was really after Calvin really got suspended for a year. These guys are really gambling. Come on.

1:43.0

I do think that applies with Rogers betting on your own team, frankly, is just stupid. However, these rules are a little bit more complicated than I thought. Some of these Lions players were suspended for not even betting on football.

1:56.0

Which they're allowed to do, but not at team facilities. Meanwhile, coaches aren't allowed to bet on anything. It feels like the complexity of the rules, which the NFL did because they wanted to let players bet on other sports is actually making it a little bit too complicated.

2:12.0

And I can't help but wonder if the whole thing should just be simplified and all betting should be banned.

2:18.0

And you're time covering the league. What position does the NFL find itself in?

2:23.0

I think this is a wake up call with the suspensions that are expected to be handed down because when Calvin Ridley was suspended, he was the only one at the time suspended for gambling and he's a former first round pick.

2:36.0

The guys that you heard in this report, Isaiah Rogers being one of them, a six round pick. They're all day three undrafted guys. It's much easier to replace that talent. So throwing your career away, potentially with a one year long suspension truly isn't worth it.

2:52.0

And I think this is something that the emphasis has been on the gambling policy, cold, committed tight end for the Chicago Bears. Remember asking several players about this. What has the NFL done to try to emphasize some of these rules? And his answer was that they had a PA rep come in and say, if you are at a road game in Vegas, you cannot go to a sports book the night before they didn't know these rules ahead of time in the six that the NFL is trying to really emphasize here, Tony are ones that are going to be a part of a continual education.

3:22.0

The process to make sure that these current players don't end up like the ones who are facing year long suspensions. Monica McNally, your view of it.

3:31.0

When this news came down today, I was like, well, kind of thought something like this was going to happen. Certainly is disappointing and you would think that guys would simplify it for themselves, whether the league does or doesn't and just not enter this territory. But I'm not surprised. I think when we saw the messaging come down with what happened with the Lions organization, you could see how serious the league was going to continue to take this issue.

3:52.0

I listen, gambling as is much a part of the sports consumption experience as scoring literally is across all sports. If I were players or their reps, their coaches, their guys that support them, just don't do it. You make ton of money anyway.

4:06.0

And they'll dunk it.

4:08.0

Yeah, the reason that it seems so jumbled and confusing and whatnot is because the league is being so incredibly reactive and they weren't proactive about this at all. I'm all about personal accountability.

4:19.0

Like these are grown men. You're betting on your own team. And if you believe the reports when it comes to Rogers, it's for bets of 25 and 50 bucks potentially like putting at risk an almost $3 million salary this year.
