Greetings, welcome to a Wednesday edition of the Shotgun Start, it is November 24th, Andy, how are we doing?

Brendan! I am doing well, I'm back in Chicago, I'm getting rested up, I'm ready for Thanksgiving, I'm ready for the year review, we're here, we made it.

It's time, it's way earlier, I'm actually kind of happy, we're not going to this out now, and it's not like a between Christmas and New Year's thing, where I'm sneaking away from family time to research.

Hey, I'm already new with eight hours before capitoloo all of a sudden, or 12 hours to listen to, so the idea is we're gonna get this out early, you don't have to listen to it, you know, this Wednesday, you can sit with it, you know, there'll probably be five parts, six parts, I don't know how long it's gonna go, it'll be done by the first, within the first week of December or so, and you can save it up for late December, you can stew it on Thanksgiving travel, you can listen to it whenever.

What year is this going to enjoy this?

Four, is this the fourth year?

I think it's fourth, you know, the first time we got into it, we just needed something to talk about for three days, and we can December.

The audience seemed to really enjoy it, we backed ourselves into a corner, it's honestly the most work of our year, at the deadest time of the golf year, but we have a sponsor, we'll sing their praises, you know, if we didn't have a sponsor, we might've just got another scary contest and said,

well, let's just go to Capitol Hill, you know, we'll talk, you know, then, but we'll talk about that in a minute, but anyways, it'll be several parts, and you'll have, you can listen to it whenever, you guys, you know, have asked for it and figured we wouldn't throw it all, all at you, you know, December 25th, and that will last week of the year.

So, all right, let's begin though, with some, just a quick segment, untimely news, you know, so this won't be totally evergreen, but Aiman Lynch report about the PGA tour, making some counter measures, no lineup, tweeted the memo that went to, I think every player went to the pack, I believe earlier, just about spreading more money around.

I don't have this specifics in front of me, you can go find this specifics, this is a year-and-review episode, but we should, we should hit on this, it's a major story.

Honestly, it's like bumping all the purses up, there's a play 15, you know, little cheeky thing where you get 50 grand for making 15 starts, just, just, but the larger money is all in the purses, and a lot of guaranteed sort of, more guaranteed money it felt like.

WGC is going up, the player is going up.

Our money, no dressing, the core issue at hand, which is the, the still product.

I mean, I've found it really dispiriting, like I think we try to come up this with objective viewpoint of all the drawbacks of all of them, right?

I think the PGL, like I have major questions about how, like, if that's anything more than just some guys, like, you know, taking a token, talking about what could be, man, you know, like, I know it's more than that, and there's substantive people behind it, but like, I just would like to see it more fleshed out.

We try to be objective about all this. This one sounds like the worst possible outcome of all this sort of disruption, threatening, maneuvering, potential, you know, upstaging.
