We are doing a wrap-up of the year that was 2021, but before we get into that, guys, I just want to remind you and just thank you all the guys that have hopped in here at the end of the year to become donors to Undaunted Life into what we're doing here with the podcast with the devotionals with everything else. We literally cannot pull this off without you guys. So I just wanted to thank you for all you guys that have gone to our website to do that. But for those of you that have not go to Undaunted.life backslash donate. That's where you can hop in and be a one-time donor or a monthly donor to make sure that we can continue to equipment all around the globe to be able to push

back darkness. But let's go and get into 2021. So I did a review last year of 2020 because 2020 was such an insane year. 2020 was an absolutely bonkers year. And now I'm like looking at 2021 and it's like, okay, it didn't seem as bonkers, but it was still kind of bonkers. Like, is that just a thing now? Like every year was kind of crazy. But now with the 24 hour news cycle, does everything seem absolutely insane? You know, anyway, we don't really know. We don't absolutely know. But let me go and review what 2021 was like for me personally. Okay.

1:28.9

So baby T number two, baby Thompson number two is hot on his way. And he's coming in hot in early of 2022. But we found out this year that my wife is pregnant with our second boy.

1:40.2

So we're so excited and thankful for that. But also, you know, with new life comes the losing of a current life. And so I actually lost my last two grandparents this year, both of my grandparents on my dad's side.

1:50.4

So that wasn't very fun. It wasn't very nice. I've done some things to be able to commemorate them. But, you know,

1:55.7

tough year to lose my grandparents, absolutely. But then when we go into the podcast, we saw some explosive growth with the podcast this year.

2:02.5

So if we go back to the episode where I talked about where we're going for it, where we're absolutely, I think it was episode 190 that, hey, we're going to really go for this podcast thing.

2:09.8

We're really going to go for getting this content out to way more people. We've seen that happen in a big way this year. We have grown by hundreds and hundreds of

2:17.0

percent of growth this year. And that's been a lot due to you guys due to some of the things that we've been able to do getting me on some other people shows and in some other things.

2:24.7

But I just want to thank you guys so much for sharing the show around. And also for all the new listeners, we're glad that you're here.

2:29.6

Also, we doubled the podcast output, which to you guys may not seem like a lot, but used to I would release one episode a week.

2:36.3

And if there was some sort of a big thing that happened in the news, I would talk about that. And it would be kind of a special episode. But we've moved to two podcasts a week, right?

2:43.4

So we're basically like we're kind of in this, you know, mode of releasing an interview on Tuesdays and releasing just a regular episode on Thursdays.

2:50.5

But man, I mean, that that is double the amount of work for what we're having to do here behind the scenes. And so that's been an explosive thing for us as well.

2:57.1

Just doubling the output of the podcast. We released the how to build a godly and manly foxhole series. That was a devotional that thousands and thousands of you guys have taken down.

3:06.2

And I've even talked to some of you guys that have like taught that to your churches and to different people like that. So that's really been awesome.

3:11.5

We did a lot of interviews. I talked about that in our best podcasts episode about all the interviews. I think we had, you know, almost three dozen different people in the podcast that we did near reviews with another thing for me personally.

3:21.3

Train Jiu Jitsu and powerlifting all year and doing those things. No major injuries, you know, small bumps and bruises along the way. But I mean, if we go back to my 2019, like I said, I had two surgeries that year, it was a hard year for surgeries. I feel like I'm kind of getting in, you know,

3:35.4

major knock on wood. I'm kind of getting into that, that mode of being able to train a lot smarter, you know, as I age, you know, I turned 35 this year, that type of thing.

3:43.7

This year, I also read more books than I ever have, you know, by the time you hear this podcast, I will have read 45 books for this year. So I would say all in all, it was a very, very good year.

3:52.3

Front onto life a very good year for me personally and for my family as well.
