I actually can't believe that last night went the way it did.

I can't believe that Wednesday night went the way it did, and the Yankees won this series

against the Boston Red Sox.

And just, if you'll indulge me, a quick moment on Yankee fandom, which people may not care

about, but listen, I got the microphone and I'm a Yankee fan, so you got to listen to me.

So when I was growing up, we always beat the Red Sox, and I'm going to say we.

We always beat Boston.

And there was never a question that we were going to beat Boston.

And then 2004 happens.

And since them, whether it's 18, whether it's 21, the Red Sox have owned us.

They've owned us.

They've definitely gotten the better of the Yankees to the point that you have Yankee fans like me prior to the series starting, thinking that the Yankees are going to lose, despite the fact that, like, objectively, the Yankees are a better team. They're way better than this version of the Red Sox. With Devers getting traded, obviously, a while back, and Roman Anthony not playing,

Gialito's not healthy enough.

I think the Yankees would have won anyway, but just saying,

Yankees are way better.

And you still had the Yankee fans like me picking against them,

and even with me, betting against them at points in this three game series.
