I'm obviously a Dallas Cowboys fan.

I root for the America's team, and I want this team to do well. But this week, boy, did we get some big news as they parted ways with Mike McCarthy after

five seasons on the job.

And joining us to break that down and this Cowboys coaching search, we're bringing in our

RJ's been talking to, you've been talking to Jerry Jones every week in the regular season for

decades now. Nobody better than you to have on the program discuss what the cowboys are going to do but before

we get into the coaching search how did we get here it looked like all the tea leaves were headed

towards McCarthy returning but we all saw the notifications monday afternoon McCarthy and the

cowboys parting ways what happened over the week after the regular season ended

i think a couple of things happened.

I think one is that, you know, Jerry looked around and I think he was just kind of waiting

it out.

I think he was just kind of, I think he knew that he wanted Mike to return, but I think he

was waiting it out for Mike to have no other options.

And that's why I believe they denied the Bears interview opportunity,
