to be the best quarterback in this draft class that is yet to be seen but one thing that we now do see is that

Jayton Daniels has officially been named the starting quarterback week one for

the Washington commanders that is official per Dan Quinn he said

after the game last night or excuse me this Saturday a game in which my guy, Jane Daniels, did the one thing I need him to learn not to do,

which was run into contact. Those boys in the NFL are very, very big, J. and Daniels, please slide. I'm begging you for the sake of your future and my ego. Please slide, okay? Dan Quinn said that after Jain Daniels took a couple of shots unnecessarily that he was on double secret probation, but apparently the double secret probation reward is that you get to be QB1 when the season rolls around here in just a couple of weeks.

I don't know where the hell else you were going to go. I mean your backup is Marcus Mariota and respect to Marcus Mariota for as long as he's been able to carve out a career as a journeyman backup quarterback respect to him for that ability at the end of the day

there was no other option here pat Boyle but to go with Jane Daniels give him a couple of weeks to let that settle in let that

settle down didn't do much in the preseason I don't think he had to 12 of 15

for a buck 23 across two games so not so far no touchdown passes but did score on a three yard run
